Why should I become a Christian? This is a good question indeed! There are many reasons as to why you should. Here are three to seriously consider:
Your Past – The Bible states, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). In your past you have failed to abide by God’s law. By deciding not to become a Christian you linger in the path of disobedience. So what? “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).
Your Present – Time is running out, and it is irreplaceable. “For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away” (James 4:14). This short time is meant to be used to serve Him (cf. Ecclesiastes 12:13).
Your Future – If you use your time in the present improperly your future will have consequences. The day of the Lord is coming soon (cf. 2 Peter 3:10-13). God has promised punishment for those who disobey Him, and salvation for those do obey Him (cf. Mark 16:16). You determine your future whereabouts.
