The apostle Paul wrote, “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12). It is incumbent upon you as the individual to do those things prescribed by God to inherit eternal life. Have you taken the steps in God’s plan of salvation?

If not, remember, “the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night” (2 Peter 3:10). Do not take this day for granted. Count it as your day of salvation. “Consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation” (2 Peter 3:15). Will you obey today?
