Any honest person with the slightest sense of morality and sound logic has a strong aversion for Planned Parenthood or any other related institution. The fundamental idea of abortion is abysmal, and their support and practice of it is enough to set them apart as the scum of the earth. They have no regard for the sanctity of human life. Their seared conscience leads them not only to take the lives, but barter in body parts. Without hesitation they continually practice abominations before their Holy Creator.

One can imagine my indignation when I heard this radio ad while driving home:

“Seems like all the best jokes are about pregnancy doesn’t it? ‘Yo mamma so this; Yo baby mamma so that.’ But ya know what? That [isn’t] funny. Especially not you miss high school. You’ve got your whole life in front of you. You need to be taking care of yourself right now. Have a baby later. So don’t be a punch-line. Visit Planned Parenthood today. Cuz you know what’s not affordable at your age? A baby!”

Using youthful hip-hop vernacular they seek to water down the situation as a mere antidote to being the butt of a joke. Simultaneously they indict the innocent child with the offense of bringing that joke on the irresponsible teen, and for stealing her time and money. Cunningly, they draw the attention away from the needs of the wholly dependent new life to the poor mistreated high school girl. They know exactly what they’re doing. Planned Parenthood is the modern hitman, and the unborn baby is the target.

The whole concept is a travesty of justice, and goodness. Isaiah explained long ago, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter” (Isaiah 5:20). There is nothing about such a practice that yields any positive outcome. We must defend the defenseless, and warn the offenders – “those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:21).
