rsz_1newspaperRecently, “The View” invited presidential candidates to discuss various topics brought up in their campaign. Dr. Ben Carson was asked about his “view” concerning evolution. The short conversation on this particular topic showed the lack of consistency and logic with those who are advocates of evolution.

Joy Behar: “I know…you’re a scientist and yet I was reading that you don’t believe in evolution.”

Joy Behar, along with many others, believe evolution is simply factual. They consider those who believe in intelligent design to be simpletons. They claim there is proof of evolution on a macro level. Yet, the proof simply doesn’t exist. Just as Carson replied:

“Yes, organisms have the ability to adapt to their environment, and they have the ability to change. Now the evolutionist say that is proof positive of [Macro] evolution. I say its proof positive of an intelligent Creator Who gave His creatures the ability to adapt to their environment.”

Joy Behar: “But you believe it because that’s your faith right?”

Ben Carson: “Some people believe that something came from nothing. And then they believe that it exploded and we had a perfectly organized world. I don’t believe that. I don’t have enough faith to believe that.”

The great disconnect in the evolutionist’s logic is their claim to fact, and their contemptuous view of faith. Their “facts” are in actuality objects of faith, for they cannot show them to us – “Now faith is the…evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). The question is, what is the most logical conclusion?

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20). Design logically implies a designer, not chaotic coincidence.
