“I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you.” (John 8:37) The Jews did not allow free course for Jesus’ word. They allowed their biases, and preconceived notions about the Messiah to shut the truth out. For this reason they would not be freed from sin’s bondage.
