“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4) Christians are supposed to be a joyous people. Because the blessings in the Lord, and the Lord Himself, are unchanged by outer circumstances, we can always rejoice in those things. The apostle Paul is a prime example. In his letter to the Philippians, Paul mentions several things he continuously takes joy in.
