“He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed” (Proverbs 13:20). We should seriously consider who we associate with, for our companions will greatly influence us. It is beneficial to walk with those who, through age and experience, have gained wisdom. They have something to offer that can help another Christian grow.
