“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever” (John 14:16). Jesus was leaving to go to the Father, but He promised His disciples He would not orphan them. He would send the Helper. The Helper is the Holy Spirit. This lesson emphasizes who the promise was given to, as well as the work of the Holy Spirit.
