Joshua 7 records the failure of Israel to conquer the small city of Ai. Also recorded is the reason for the failure – Achan’s sin. Several things can be learned from this passage, one of which is the fact that sin severs fellowship with God, and MUST be dealt with in the way God requires. This sermon uses Joshua 7 as a spring-board into a discussion about When Sin is Present.
