In Philippians 2:12-16, Paul encouraged the Philippians to continue in their faith toward salvation even if he would not be able to visit them. God would work in them as they worked out their salvation. They were to do so without complaining and disputing, as lights in the perverse and wicked world, and by holding fast the word of life. We should do the same.
