Peter told his readers to grow in grace (2 Peter 3:18). In the first chapter he discussed how God was seeking to multiply grace to his readers (2 Peter 1:2-4). He then discussed their part – adding to their faith various graces (2 Peter 1:5-7). The sixth in the list is “brotherly kindness.”
